Fundamental Painters of Symbolism

Symbolism is a current that, during the 19th century (mainly the second half) and until the beginning of the 20th century, influenced the work of great painters (such as Gauguin and the other Post-impressionists, who today are not considered mainly "symbolists" but who had a lot of it).

Likewise, there are painters who were symbolists but who were also fundamental in other currents or movements, such as Klimt and Von Stuck.

This is a dynamic list since we will be adding more artists and more information to it over time.
