Moments of Georgia O'Keeffe

 

Georgia O'Keeffe is considered the great painter of modern art in the United States. Her work is famous for a novel type of abstraction (which was beginning to be explored at that time in the world of the photographic avant-garde): starting from a detail, from a flower, animal bones, or a New Mexico landscape, she took that detail plane to a large scale and made us see things "from another point of view," with a renewed look.
