Moments of Rembrandt

1625. The Stoning of Saint Stephen. When he was 18-19 years old, (1624–1625) Rembrandt opened his own studio in Leiden. His work is rich in detail, his brushstroke is careful, meticulous. His palette is colorful, brilliant.

1628. Self-Portrait. We can see how the chiaroscuro, so typical of the Baroque and of Rembrandt, already prevails in his work.

1629. Judas Returning the Thirty Pieces of Silver
