Kandinsky and His Compositions

Six Paintings. One concept

Kandinsky classified many of his works as Impressions, Improvisations or Compositions.

In his book Concerning the Spiritual in Art, he says that his Compositions are the expression of his inner world, but not in a spontaneous or improvised way. His works are planned, developed with patience, very analyzed and worked preliminarily, where reason, conscience, intention and purpose intervene.
