His outlines are thick as those of his master Klimt. His hand had an astonishing, infallible security, and he did not stop once he started. Neither did he correct. Schiele achieved —as if it was very simple— expressivity with psychological depth. Proud, provocative attitudes, usually with a strong charge of desperation, melancholy, and existential anguish.
