Aristocratic Style: Rococo
Six Paintings. One Concept

Rococo was popular in France for much of the 18th century, and it gracefully mirrored, with sophistication and delicacy, the carefree, frivolous, and "decorative" lives of the courtiers, as the people began to desire revolution.
With the French Revolution in 1789, the style fell out of favor.
