She was a teenager when surprised the avant-garde with her paintings. She painted A World when she was 18.

Angelita astonished the world with her work that had a touch of naive, of Expressionism, of Surrealism. She painted what she imagined, desired and dreamt of, also what tormented her, without intellectualizing it. Pure instinct, no artist pose, all authenticity.
