Chagall is a good example to understand Magical Realism.
Flying brides and grooms, as if they feel “they are in Heaven”, animals levitating or interpreting music. Small “magical” facts that burst into a real environment, without generating surprise, and that reflect the joy, the infatuation and the emotions of the protagonists.
A good definition of those touches of Magical Realism would be: “moods that generate little miracles.”
